This Intrinsic Value Calculator is based on Warren Buffett's "Ten Cap Price" also known as "Owner Earnings" calculation. Buffett refers to Owner Earnings as the crucial item for valuation purposes, both for investors purchasing stocks and for managers acquiring entire businesses.

According to Warren Buffett's Value Investment Theory, the decision to buy should consider several factors:

1. Company must have a competitive advantage.

4. Company's market price should be 20-30% lower than the calculated intrinsic value to provide a margin of safety.

It may seem illogical for a strong company to have its market price significantly below its intrinsic value. However, this can be due to various reasons such as negative news about the company, industry trends moving away from favor, market corrections, or recessions.
